Terms of Service

Last updated: October 19, 2026.

These Terms govern your use of IronDome's website, dashboard and API. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use IronDome for an organization, you must have authority to act for it. Questions can be sent to contact@irondome.dev.

The service

IronDome classifies email addresses to help identify disposable email usage. Results are classification signals, not proof of mailbox existence, ownership or deliverability. You are responsible for how your application uses the results and for any additional verification it needs.

Our documentation describes supported requests, limits and integration requirements. Classification data and service behavior may change as the service develops. Measurements on the benchmarks page describe the published test conditions; they are not a performance or accuracy guarantee for every request.

Your account and API keys

You must provide accurate account and billing information and have legal capacity to enter this agreement. Keep passwords, API keys and integration secrets secure. You are responsible for activity authorized through your account and should revoke compromised credentials promptly.

Do not expose secret keys in public client code. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access or a security issue.

Permitted use and submitted data

Use IronDome only for lawful purposes and only submit information you are entitled to process. You are responsible for any notices, permissions or other lawful basis required for the addresses you submit.

Do not use the service to facilitate spam, fraud, harassment or unlawful collection of personal information. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other customers, bypass security controls, evade usage limits or abuse the free allowance through multiple accounts or integrations.

Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. Addresses submitted to the checking API are processed for classification without being retained as a history of submitted addresses. Account, security, usage and billing information are handled separately as described in that policy.

Free allowance and paid usage

The free plan includes 500 successful email checks per UTC calendar month, shared across your account's keys and integrations. Usage reporting and quota enforcement can update asynchronously. When the allowance is exhausted, wait for the reset or explicitly enable paid access. Reaching the free allowance does not automatically enroll you in paid billing.

Pay-as-you-go usage is priced at $1 USD per 1,000 successful checks. Each successfully classified address counts as a check, including disposable results and repeated checks of the same address. Bulk requests count each successfully classified item. Invalid inputs do not count as successful checks. A timeout can occur after a check has completed, so retrying may consume additional usage.

Paid access requires billing setup and your authorization. You are responsible for authorized usage and applicable taxes. Usage estimates may change before billing is finalized. Dodo Payments handles payment collection and official payment invoices. Review the billing details and payment authorization shown during setup.

If you believe a charge or usage statement is incorrect, contact contact@irondome.dev with the relevant reference. We will investigate and correct confirmed errors. Nothing here removes refund or other rights you have under applicable law. Price changes will be communicated before they apply to future usage.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but interruptions can occur because of maintenance, network conditions, dependencies or security incidents. Except where separately agreed or required by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or error-free classification.

We may restrict or suspend access to address abuse, compromised credentials, unpaid charges or legal requirements. Where practical, we will explain the issue and how to resolve it.

Ending use

You may stop using the API and revoke your keys at any time. For account closure, contact us. Stopping use does not cancel amounts already incurred. Account closure and retained records are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Our materials and your rights

IronDome's website, branding and detection datasets remain owned by IronDome or their respective owners. Access to the API does not transfer ownership of those materials. Separately licensed SDKs and other open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

You retain your rights in information you submit and permit us to process it as needed to provide the requested service. These Terms do not grant us a right to retain submitted API email addresses for unrelated purposes.

Legal rights and updates

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any separate written agreement with you takes precedence where it expressly conflicts with these Terms.

We may revise these Terms as the service changes. We will update the date on this page and communicate material changes before they apply where required by law. Contact contact@irondome.dev if you have questions or a dispute so we can try to resolve it.
